Bygone days

Well, actually only three years ago today. We were on a river cruise in Europe. When we reached Passau we had to swap boats because the water levels in the river were too low. In this photo the crew on the original boat were saying farewell to us before we disembarked.

After 18 months of becoming covid-conditioned this photo makes me feel uncomfortable now. So many people in such a confined space. I hope we all manage to get over this conditioning in due course.
