Bedraggled beauty

Wednesdays are my day off so I always try to do something for myself. Today I headed down to Spondon near Derby to see my ex sister-in-law who I have remained good friends with over the decades (we trained together in the 80’s and we’re friends long before I was stupid enough to marry her brother)
D and her partner have bought a new house down in North Wales and so are preparing for a move. She invited me down for a catch up and a forage in her lovely garden for plants. We spent the morning drinking coffee in said garden followed by lunch at a garden centre and then in the afternoon we walked across the road to her friends garden where we had a Pimms, cake and another mooch for plants.
J’s garden was AMAZING ! And between the two I have come home with 2 different crocodile, verbena, geranium, Acer (cuttings) aconite seeds, gladioli, 2 unknown shrubs and sunflower seeds :-)
