We did, with coffee, after evening meal in the garden with our younger son and his partner. A lot of teacher talk.

A particularly warm day, especially for Scotland in September*. Listened to a few podcasts and researched a couple of things.

5810 new coronavirus cases in Scotland, (57128 tested), 883 in hospitals and 82 ICU; 17 more deaths. Very encouraging vaccination figures.

*turned out to be a Met Office record - highest Scotland September temperature in 115 years.
