An Appropriate Day for a Ski Lesson

We woke this morning to a slightly unexpected layer of white covering as far as the eye could see. It continued to fall from the sky for most of the morning before relenting just before lunch and very quickly beginning to thaw. Rosie and I had half an hour in the back garden photographing the snow as it melted.

This afternoon, with Rosie off to a friend's sleepover party and an ice skating session, Immy, Annie and I went over to the Xscape at Milton Keynes. Immy and Annie had ski lessons booked, first time ever for Immy. Both had a great time, Annie brushing up on old skills and techniques and Immy learning some of the basics very quickly.

We grabbed dinner whilst we were there before driving back home through the still falling snow, a lovely day.
