An amazingly warm day and after much rationalising of the clothes collection I took myself off to the Modern to see a video installation by Isaac Julien about Frederick Douglass, a freed slave who lived in Edinburgh for couple of years in the 19th century. Reeeeeely interesting as was the video about the making of it. Art that was understandable and relevant. Jings.
Then onward to the West End to meet up with Mr Sitting and hey we got a table outside. And there we did sit and yap until it was time to depart on our respective buses, bladders emptied - but then commenced the ticking of the clock as they began to refill…
