The Visitor

This handsome pheasant (Phasianus Colchicus) comes to Inishkea everyday at the moment. He helps himself to the wheat in the duck area and generally wanders around the garden.

However his favourite thing is to come onto the patio and knock on the window. The dogs and cats will watch him from inside but he still comes up and gives a tap.

He even came this morning when we woke to a snowy landscape. It made his colours seem even more striking.
