Calgary Sand Storm

Yesterday it was snow being blown in and creating a different look and feel to the landscape. Today the bitterly cold, fierce wind continues, but the effect it was having on Calgary Beach was amazing.

It gave the appearance of Sci-Fi film set with the sand being whipped up. Craters were formed and in some areas it was almost like a mist of sand.

It was even quite a struggle to walk into the wind to get back to the car. Mind you the dogs didn't seem to worry!
