Sad Face

Third day of The Black Eye. This is almost 36 hours after yesterday mornings photo. I think the swelling around the outside of her eye is starting to go down, the bruising under her eye has got worse. The graze is definitely doing some healing.

They took her to the doctor today. He's said she's not allowed to do sport or music (apart from piano) for two weeks. The nurse's email said she seemed her bright self. My friend's message from her daughter suggested otherwise! She is, however, allowed to go on the school trip on the condition she doesn't overdo it and opts out of anything that hurts. 

The term's extra curriculars have been published this afternoon. She's pleased to be able to do athletics and cross country (in two weeks time anyway) and my little music geek is choosing to do extra music theory for fun. Shes decided against doing Matilda "because it will take too much practice time". She's focused and determined, that's for sure....
