Through The Gates

Through the gates they came, happy smiling faces, on the first day in their new school.

Just an orientation day, but it was nice to see them and their enthusiasm was quite infectious.

That will wear off pretty soon!

In other news, the fire still rages 48 hours later. A never-ending wave of water-planes roared over the school, dipping down to the sea to refill and then dragging themselves back to the fire to dowse more flames.

ADANA, the dog shelter, is perilously close to the blaze, but for now the wind is keeping the flames away.
