Like "Old war horse..

..at the sound of a trumpet", is how Darwin described the feeling of finding rare species of beetles. As (at latest estimates) there are about 400.000 species of beetles in the world I guess that some beetle enthusiasts have really exhausted the old warhorse. This longhorned spotted beetle is not rare at all, but it is pretty, even if I failed to get the right light (overcast day) on it to do it justice.
