For the first time since the Coronavirus struck, we today ventured on holiday.  Travelled to Otterburn in the Yorkshire Dales to meet up with my sister and partner for the first time in 2 years.  Such excitement!

The HG and I arrived first, having a shorter journey, and not too long after Helen and Dave arrived all the way from Essex.  So good to see my sister again!  

We had a walk into the village just to see our surroundings, after exploring the converted barn we will call home for the week.  

I had taken soup, lasagne, salad, garlic bread, and we had a good meal, followed cheese and biscuits, accompanied of course by some wine.  And a great catch up in the evening, once we had organised ourselves.  More to follow.......
