View over Lake Windermere

I needed to visit South Lakeland today so that I could get some 8mm Cine film transferred to DVD. This film was shot in the 50’s and 60’s (we think) so it’s going to be very interesting finding out what is on them. We found them in a cupboard at my Mums house when we were clearing it out.
Having done that we went to visit friends R and Mr P, who live nearby. They took me for a walk up Brant Fell, my first Wainwright. This was the view. It was certainly worth the effort.
After our descent we had a delicious fish supper at R’s. Yum.
