Cheese and wine

So this week I had a not very welcome diagnosis from the doctor following recent tests, dramas with cars and MOTs and sons who forget and need their mum’s help to clear up their messes, an unexpected offer of a grant at work, and found a lovely doggy daycare for Juno.

This morning I walked through the fields gradually accumulating other lovely dog walkers until we had both a human pack and a canine one. The fields have been cut and Juno enjoyed jumping over the long lines of hay. It was a great start to a day that improved as Josh appeared from London with good news about his new house in Edinburgh where he moves in 10 days. The scaffolding guys even gave me a wave and kept their radio at a manageable level. Dinner was white wine and pimped up cheese and crackers.
