Seascape

For those of you who know me and my love for the sea, you won’t be surprised that this is one of my favourite paintings by a girl called Georgina Potter.
She works mostly ‘en plein air’, completing a picture in a very short time. A friend told me about her work and so I bought this painting before she was selling to galleries. She did a ‘daily sketch’ of which this picture is one, and you could buy the painting straight away, or when the oil paint had dried. She now only sells to galleries and her work goes for many hundreds of pounds. So lucky to have got in before she was well known.
