Grumble alert!

On a MUCH more mundane level.
When I was hunting a "Midge-Bat" = (Fly Swat) I kept thinking:-
"We're supposed to be keeping plastic to a minimum and here they are selling it in twos and threes; why would I want/need three of them?"
Three, of course, arrived. 
O K = one in the Living Room, one in the Kitchen and one here in The Computer Shack.  I'm now wondering if I was supposed to use one until it died, then move on to number two?
IF there's any compensation it's hard (HUH?) plastic and therefore recyclable.  To me it scores in that I can get them sitting still rather than chase them in flight with an "Electrocutioner".
