Well that was a big day

The cake was the end of a full on day.
The walk to the golf club and breakfast  roll with candle was a surprise from Heather. See extra.
The dinner at my favourite  local restaurant  saw the fabulous  cheese soufflé wow us.
The cake was the icing on the day, or so I thought.
There had been a bit of collusion  and secrecy.  I had a box from Gav and Evi. In it were some lovely  photos, but on the back was an iou of a lunch at The Three Chimneys  on Skye. It has been on my list to do, for a long time.
It's  booked and we will be going. 
We were all in bed for 11pm.
This old age...I love it.
