Prize winner

The curling season began again this week.  It's been so long since we've had a proper game that lots of us wondered if we would be able to get back up on our feet after delivering the stone and many people have decided not to come back.  I think the break has been too long especially for the most senior players.  The ice was quite wet due to the unusually high outdoor temperatures we've had and this makes it a bit more risky when sweeping.  However I was fortunate to be in the winning team of the ladies' opening Bonspiel and was delighted with a prize of fresh fruit.
