Approaching Storm

After a couple of very hot and humid days, unusual for autumn, this is what approached at about 4.30 this afternoon. Usually when the sky goes green like this we get a massive hail storm so we were frantically getting the cars in the garage and shutting doors and windows. Thankfully today we just got a teeming, swirling, torrential downpour and strong winds which only lasted about half an hour. We gots lots of water in under the front door as the rain was pelting up against it. Anyway, we jammed beach towels up against it and cleaned up afterwards so no damage done.
I have been following the blizzards in the UK and thinking of you all in that part of the world. I hope everyone is safe.
