City of Truro

Today was Ciaran's birthday treat held over from February. He chose to have a day out on the Llangollen Steam Railway the week of the Steam,Steel and Stars Gala. Today was 4-4-0 day (that's the axle and wheel configuration). The loco's running were Dukedog, Morayshire and the Star of the show City of Truro.
This engine in 1904 was recorded, unofficially, as the 1st steam loco to do 100mph. Great day out, great weather and Dee valley scenery looking lovely.
