George and Dragon

In honour of our Patron St George I set up this little tableaux using No 2 son's finger puppet theatre. Apparently in the version of the story we have a mouse saves the day. unfortunately we don't have a horse so a zebra puppet will have to make do as his noble steed.

Not sure I'm into all this celebrating our Saints Day after all St George wasn't even an Englishman. If we where to have a Parton St it should be Edmund the Martyr who stood up to the pagan Vikings and got pinged full of arrows for his troubles.
