Sybil
It has been a strange kind of day. I was up very early to feed Sybil, the subject of today's picture. She has to have three lots of medication at 0700 hours and 1900 hours.
We then walked to the pharmacy in the village as they had the winter flu vaccine in for people over 65. We timed it well as there was only one person in front of us. They were operating a one way system and were very efficient. When we came out there were about twenty people in the queue.
We also had another quote for replacement windows and this one brought a sample window so we could see what it looked like.
Our daughter and son-in-law where flying from Heathrow at midday, but their flight was delayed. I later learned, after they had landed that it was because the toilets were not working! I always track my family on a “planefinder” app, but as usual lost them over the Atlantic Ocean. I did pick them up again near their destination and just before they landed.
I tried to join an afternoon Zoom meeting, just for a short while, but the codes we were given were wrong and the link did not work. Eventually some new codes were sent out, but by then it was time to watch the Formula One sprint race. I do not like this new format, but for now it is not every race.
Today's picture is of a sad looking Sybil; she is Dougal and Florence's sister. She will not be so sad this time as Oliver will be at home during the week, except when he is working.
The temperature at GMT today was twenty degrees Celsius.
