Earthy Day
Today has been a soil day: gardening, and preparing for winter in the allotment.
The giant sunflowers have bloomed (main), and the apples are ripening nicely, healthy haul of potatoes, and the dahlia might even make it (extras).
Tired. Time for leg of lamb with a spot of red, and some of those maris piper potatoes, roasted. Followed up by apple/plum crumble, also from the garden.
And a wee poem from Tom Leonard, that takes me way back to childhood.
