The End

This is the 3rd Fitbit that I have owned. I have only ever paid for 1, the first 2 failed during the warranty period and were replaced. This one (still less than a year old) has now started going the way of the others with display faults. The display is dim, has acquired these bands and also the dark areas are now illuminated, making a very low contrast screen that is very difficult to read in all but dark conditions. 

So it will be farewell shortly to this, and hello to a replacement from a different manufacturer. 

A lot of catching up to do with uploading blips, I have limited my time on computers to essential stuff while I get through a load of jobs around the house and generally prepare for my op on 14th September.
