Sally Mair - Loving life

Polly Pocket

Today I sink to a new low in EBs. Eilidh noticed last week that one of the Polly Pocket dolls, dressed in a swimming costume, was missing. I don't know how she knew we must have a hundred of the tiny things. (For those who don't know they are less than an inch high!) Anyway, all is not lost as Colin found this one out in the garden. I have yet to report its finding to Eilidh. I'm sure she'll be delighted.
In spite of a busy and interesting day today I failed to take any pictures, so you have Polly!

Today was the final day of the Cursillo course which had been running over the weekend near Falkirk. We hold a final service to mark this and it is usually well attended. Today, due to the restrictions it was of necessity smaller. The Bishop of Edinburgh was the celebrant and the atmosphere was very positive. As Lay president I gave a short speech of welcome to our new members and then left. As designated hospital driver, I'm being very careful still and avoiding large groups of people. I kept my mask on today though and didn't stay long, so hopefully minimised any risk of picking up the virus.
I'll be so glad when we can relax a little more, still not long to go now and it will have been worth it.

Thank you for dropping by my journal, I hope to raise the standard a little by tomorrow!

Stay safe everyone.
