Ukuleles rule, OK?

Many of my friends know my antipathy for the ukulele, but I have to admit that Ian Brown does wonders with the participants in his ukulele classes at Baafest. Here is Sunday's class, all celebrating the beauty and joy that playing the ukulele gives.

It was another wonderful day. Live music. Let me repeat that: LIVE MUSIC! We drank it all in and wanted more. Many of the musicians had not played in public since March 2020. One had gone to work in Tesco, where she had to make up customer orders for the van deliveries. (Let's say her speed was good, but accuracy was not!!)

Everyone was smiling and enjoying themselves, even the pooches (see extra).

Paul Mason has a trebuchet he built. People had to guess how far the ball would travel and the money for entries went to the Great North Air Ambulance. I managed to get a shot with the contraption and a ball in the air. Phew!
