Bridge Over the River Quack

This Mallard decided that crossing the river using the bridge was far preferable to swimming across and she wasn't at all bothered by me taking her photo.

A and I visited Pensthorpe this morning, we arrived early and were soon enjoying the peace and calm away from the visitor centre.  There was an abundance of water mint in flower which was being much enjoyed by numerous butterflies, including a beautiful peacock butterfly, see extra.
