Nicandra Physalodes

Every year quite a few of these plants appear at the allotment site - self seeded I think as they have no culinary use.  Their appearance is quite interesting and people leave them as an ornamental plant for their attractive flowers and interestingly coloured, shaped fruits.
Also known as the Shoo-Fly plant.
