Falling for Fall

Tiny Tuesday Challenge - we have had a "false Autumn" because of the lack of rainfall around the country but particularly in S.East.  There has been a small covering of leaves around, mostly dried up and dead and not showing Autumn colours but tree distress and drought.  I have taken a similar shot of windfalls among the grass  and leaves but there are some colours around now and the red tones of the fallen apples give an indication of the coming of Autumn.  We await the riot of true Autumnal colours later into the year.
