Cockleroy.

This morning we took Chloe for a wee pamper session and, an hour later, all washed, dried and brushed out, she was all fluffy-soft and fragrant.
So this afternoon we drove over to Linlithgow and then up towards Beecraigs where we parked up and took a wander up Cockleroy Hill. It is not a big climb but is moderately steep. The views from the top are stunning. Above is looking north to Longannet power station (what’s left of it!) with the Grangemouth petrochemical/industrial area on the left and Linlithgow Bridge on the right. Centre right is the big railway viaduct over the Avon Gorge. Sadly, no trains on it.
Today’s extra is the view to the east. A white cruise ship is sailing out with the Bass Rock almost directly behind it and North Berwick Law further to the right.
After all that, I think it is time for some feet up time!
