This afternoon we visited Dollar Park in Falkirk. The floral clock was this year decorated for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, see today’s extra.
Later we watched as Her Majesty left St Giles and travelled through Edinburgh to the airport. We decided on the spur of the moment to go over to Cockleroy Hill, Linlithgow to try and see the Queen’s aircraft take off. We just arrived at the right time to get our bearings and see the huge Globemaster leave and take Her Majesty back to London. Really sad to see but we are both very glad we made the effort .
