Unappealing pub chain names No. 2

Last Monday I gave you the Snail and Raspberry today it’s the Slug and Egg. These were found when I moved a pile of bricks at the allotment. By the end of the morning the slugs had gone leaving the eggs behind.

The plot looks much tidier now that we’ve mown the grass and edged all the beds. Plenty, as always, still to do. Brought home more runner beans, onions and cabbage.

Completed my map and guide for Thursday’s guided walk and write some notes for tomorrow night’s Parish Council meeting. It’s been quiet over August. I think things are going to hot up again.
