Hawthorn

I had to blip this odd looking tree spotted on the footpath to the stone circle, it was hanging on as they say. Earlier an easy walk to Laggan sands, beautiful and not a soul in sight passing Moy castle and the ‘big house’. As always we wondered about the number of properties dotted around the area, about locals making a living and how the community interacts. Several looked like self catering cottages although a good few working vehicles moving on the road and tracks.

Extra: along the various wanders we came across old style fencing, a post top shown, and gate, this one looked interesting with the handle? on top and view from Laggan sands
