St Peter the Poor Fisherman

We have done a wonderful and very long walk today with friends... rediscovering the coastal and riverside walks we knew so well when we lived here. Blip and extra : the ruins of a medieval church on the cliffs at Stoke beach. It was abandoned in 1870 for a new church in Noss Mayo. It is a strange and beautiful place where you can hear the roar of the waves, yet is peaceful and almospheric.
This evening we are looking forward to a small get together with a group of our friends on a deck overlooking the river.
