Buffalo Chaser

Great old buffalo chaser at this campsite near the Bungle Bungles.

When I was a pup I dreamt of charging around the desert on the back of one of these; with a couple of cowboys roping wild bulls / buffalo and hauling them in against the side rail.

All seems a bit dangerous now, as I sit on the sofa checking my social media and trying to pick blip photos.

The campsite is mainly staffed by French backpackers this season! They do a big campfire and BBQ after sunset. Can’t wait! All you can eat BBQs are very happy hunting grounds for canine travel journalists.

I like my beef in bite sized chunks, not half a ton at a time with pounding hooves, big horns and flames in it’s eyes!
