Day 2 - Herriot Way - Hawes to Keld

Mileage - approx. 13 miles

Again another very hot day for walking.....phew! And with a height gain of around 2,349 ft / 716 m to the summit of Great Shunner Fell and no shade this was a test for me. Amazing views at the top even if it was a little hazy.

But we did it, and an extra 45 minutes uphill to our accommodation just outside the village of Keld. We stayed at Frith Lodge and our evening meal was also there. Lovely place and great food and hosts.
