Not a great start

to our holiday. Only been on M1 for about ten minutes and a bang at side of camper, couldn’t see what caused it but then a van went passed and let us know we had a problem. Pulled onto hard shoulder to find we had a flat on the front driver side tyre. Breakdown service out within an hour and we were on our way. Ten minutes later we hit debris on the road and had to pull into services to check under the van, everything OK.
Got to site two hours later than expected, coffee sat in the sun, a lovely walk along the river and then glass of red with dinner. All relaxed.
Called a local tyre place and the nice man is getting a replacement tyre and fitting it tomorrow morning. The spare is hung under the van and is dropped down from inside the bike storage bay, but stuff had to come out to get to the attachment to drop it. Bit of a stressful day for Hetty and she put herself to bed after dinner.
