Classic light
Lovely light through the trees on our early morning walk in the St Ives estate woods with nearly the full compliment of ladies and our token man.
This view through the trees is a classic one of the early sun across the flag marker where the foot path goes across the golf course between two greens.
It has often been blipped, not least by me, but it occurred to me this morning that we will soon be passing this spot in the near dark and will be hoping to see the sunrise over Bingley as we cross the pylon field later in the walk. The year is moving on apace.
Another lovely day.
FaceTimed the family as we all had breakfast. Thursday morning is going to be a good time as I’ve been out early and Grace now has Thursday as one of her days off each week. In the past she has always had alternate days, apart from Monday, because of a two week timetable. Nice to have a regular time. Eda was busy being a unicorn which required a horn of course, a flower in her hair and a tail - nothing else!
I had previously been admiring her rainbow pyjamas which I bought her some time ago. She’s just started wearing them size 3-4 years. The ballet dancer ones, age 4-5years, I’ve got her for her birthday will be waiting for a while then but good to have some ready for future use.
So later to get my shower but no matter, got some washing on and out to dry as well as doing a bit of ironing. Then a bit of gardening before lunch.
These days are much appreciated when we know we won’t have many more that are not just sunny but warm too!
