...it has been a good day when you've only got one mile range left.

Regional team get together in Nottingham today and I woke up sensing a lovely weather day was in the offing so I made the decision to ride to Nottingham. It's only 22 miles and on the Ebike that's no bother at all.

It was perfect morning and evening riding on the country lanes through the Leicestershire Wolds, especially this morning with the mist rolling in the valleys. One of my colleagues rode in from the Derbyshire Dales and had the special pleasure of seeing a cloud inversion, a rare treat indeed.

We had a ride out after lunch on a selection of adapted bikes to Holme Pierrepont, you can see a photo of the rapids in the extra.
