Electric Spider

I took this on my way up the Blorenge today. It was a snow and ice ride and I had spiked tyres on the bike - worked a treat. Sometimes I didn't realise how bad the ice was until I put a foot down, which just slid out on sheet ice. It was freezing, -4 Celsius at the top. I couldn't get to the Bike Breaker trail as the snow was too thick.... probably not a bad thing as I wouldn't have been able to make out the rocks and drops. Back home now in front of warm wood burner, cat on knee and coffee and toast in hand
