Garden therapy
A long appointment at the dentist this afternoon... followed by the inevitable period of clumsy numbness. However, I am enduringly grateful for the fact that I can actually go to the dentist these days and get a broken crown attended to, in contrast with the long Covid period when that was impossible.
So after that, a wander round the garden was the best therapy. Everything is winding down for autumn, although there are still some new blooms shaping up on the red sunflowers (a multi-headed variety whose name I can't remember - in the extra). And the passionflower, spreading over a wall in a tangle with a neighhouring clematis - it's still displaying the odd bloom. Getting to grips with that tangle is another job on the gardening list.
