In between

What a fabulous sunny day it's been.
Val and I met for a short walk, and started it at the canal basin, where there's a 'waterfront festival' today. We meandered along the towpath and back. Then we got hot drinks and sat for a while, listening to a small band playing some bluesy numbers.
This once-grand warehouse (perhaps?) is declining gracefully by the canalside, sandwiched between boxy modern structures.  I don't think it's destined for the 'loft living' treatment; gradual collapse is far more likely.
