Ashy mining bee

A day of getting ready for our daughter and family arrival on Sunday and our sons departure on Saturday.  I managed to fit a pilates class in which was good.  In the afternoon the sun came out and I looked around the garden for something to photograph.  There were not many bees around but I spotted this unusual black bee which I believe is an ashy mining bee.  Unfortunately it didn't hang around long so this is the best shot I managed.
