Being WildCardinal...

Coulds over Coledale

The morning was spent walking around Buttermere. The light across Fleetwith and clouds above was stunning. The wind was really howling through, but this didn't stop it being a great walk. I did fail to pick up on the instructions of meeting up in a tea room in the village so walked straight round and back to the car. Lunch ended up being a disappointing panini from the Honister slate mine cafe.

On the way back we stopped off to take some photos from the top of Latrigg above Keswick. The wind was really screaming through, blowing tripods and camera bags about. The light on the snow over the Coledale Horseshoe looked stunning.

When I'm next up in the Lakes I'll have to head back here for either a sunrise or sunset session!
