Another Day, Another Heritage Open Day

This time it was the local branch of the Suffolk County Records Office: there are three, ours in Bury St Edmunds, one in Lowestoft and the main one in Ipswich For our visit the staff had chosen the theme of food and drink as portrayed in recipes in old local books: the photo shows the end of a little game for us where we had to match up the herb and spice samples to names with descriptions written down on the pieces of paper
