Choosing

a bedtime story. W has a few to choose from, C has too many to count, in fact she has handed some over to W to make more room on her bookshelf.

It has been a fairly normal Friday. Both kids at school or pre-school, Jim working from home. Run for me after school drop, in the snow before it had had time to settle. Then I had a facial at the local college (couldn't say no for £5 when it is normally at least £40 in a comercial salon).

After school we went to the local soft play to meet C's oldest friend and her little sister. The four kids played really nicely together while R and I actually got to catch up. I didn't think the moment would ever come where I could sit and enjoy a coffee and a chat without racing after the kids. That said I did have to get an icepack for W, typically he decided to add a lump on the side of his temple to his other lumps and bumps!
