Helping Hand

My helping hand at the allotment this afternoon. After watching me for half an hour or so Merlin decided to investigate the hole where I dig out the gooseberry bush. Then he sat on the pile of extracted earth and guarded the hole the remainder of the time. Very helpful - thank you Merlin.

A damp and dull start to the day. We had a late start and walked to Emsworth this morning. There was just about enough wind for the local sailing club to be out racing. The day has ended with glorious sunshine.
