Fine to be nine

Our grandson continued his ninth birthday celebrations today with an afternoon party for the oldies. The real excitement was yesterday with his pals at a climbing centre followed by a sleepover. 

This was his ice-cream birthday cake, made by his Glasgow granny to his specifications. Very nice it was too - see also in the extra.
