Lazy Sunday
I had no plans or commitments today, and I lazed around drinking coffee reading the paper and listening to the Archers omnibus.
I wrote and dropped off a letter to DC along with Private Eye and ambled for several hours around Dams to Darnley Country Park. The sun was hot and I wished I had brought a picnic. The blip is where I would have eaten it, a small lochan close to Darnley Mill. It’s not on the main path so it’s nearly always deserted as it was this morning/afternoon.
I headed home for a late bacon roll brunch and met IC who asked me when I was going to do the last bit of the West Highland Way, which for me is Tyndrum to Kingshouse, the longest stretch but not particularly challenging terrain in half decent weather. I’ll need to think about that, probably doing it in reverse.
