Ice Leaf

On the 4th Day of Spring... We had more light snow over night. Barring a few hours it has snowed either heavy, moderate, or lightly over a 36 hour period, here in Nuneaton.

We walked Sheba early evening, going out about 1815. Took the camera, just in case, and just as well, as I left my iPhone at home!

The failing light add another dimension to photography, because you become more reliant on the use of flash to help take the required image. This lump of ice shaped no unlike a left caught my eye while there was still some fading light. 20 minutes later on the way back, the light having set like the sun, meant the only way was to use the inboard flash to pre-flash so the camera could focus and then fire to take the resulting photograph. I have not added too , or taken anything away from the original image, this is it, in all it's nakedness!

Camera Sony A55, std lens.
