Snowy Nose

On the 5th Day of Spring the sun came out.

Well, if you were in a sheltered corner away from the wind, then the snow and ice began to thaw. If you were not, then the easterly wind was just as cold and bitter as ever. The snow on the playing field was picked by the wind and blow mini snow drifts of about 30cm deep on one of the paths that Sheba and I walk along most days.

Sheba just loves the snow! The local children seem to be bored with it, and are staying at home in the warm. However, Sheba and I are loving it. She roots around burying her nose in the snow. Me, with camera in hand trying different shots, just love the opportunity that this weather brings.

Tried capturing melt water dropping, but wasn't sharp focus enough for me to blip today. Tried lots of low angle shots which worked well and a few close ups of iced buds. However this is my blip for today, a snowy nose!
